Design Devlog 2
Since the previous week, our goals have been to wrap all mechanics and elements that we will be implementing into our game. This week we have been able to do that as well as design a Macro which we will be using to outline where we focus our efforts, as well as account for any errors or obstacles we encounter. For the following week, me and my team have the goal of designing character models to be used in game, as well as refine interactions between all mechanics and start working on animations for the models. As an individual, I have accomplished fleshing out the GDD more than before, as well as organizing all mechanics and elements that will be installed into the final iteration of the game. For the following week, I will have to design 2D character models as well as playtest the mechanics against each other to make sure the game has little to no errors. In addition to this, I will attempt to start working on animations, however there is a lot to learn between then. Some of these things I will have to learn is designing models and implementing the correct code to make sure mechanics interact properly.
