Design Devlog 3
For the past week, my team's goals were to create effective environments and choose intense colors to notify the player of hazardous NPCs. Throughout the past week, we had numerous playtests of our mechanics, and we redesigned a portion of the mechanics as well as design a portion of the levels. For the following week, the main focus of our work will be going into creating gameplay and compiling code to make the game function normally. In the past week, I as an individual have come up with several level designs to fit into the game, outfitted with NPC and pickup locations, as well as suggest redesigns for mechanics such as coins and lightning bolt. In the following week, I will be dedicating most of my time to assisting with code development for the game, and the rest of my time will go to level design. In order to accomplish this, I will have to work with unity references and my team (who is more experienced with coding than me).
